How has the weather been in your neck of the woods this summer? Hot, cold, stormy, dry?
To me our summer has been quite toasty & humid with quite a few nasty storms going through where we had Tornado watches & even warnings north or south of us. I really wish we could have last summer back where we didn’t need to run the AC 24 hrs a day and could enjoy being outside. I’m really dreading getting the electric bill this month.

Do you visit Craigslist often? If so, what is something you tend to search for?
For me I tend to look for a few different things. One of the things I like to look for is anything to do with Karate for Kevin and for me an elliptical. I currently have a treadmill that used to be my Grandma’s but it’s on the fritz where even the warm-up is a flat out sprint. Plus after awhile my shins start hurting so that’s what I was thinking maybe an elliptical would be better for me.

Did you, or anyone you know attend any of the tea parties that was held Wednesday?
I am proud to say that we actually was able to attend two of them! The first one was in Hudsonville and I had heard at one point there was about 1200 people there. Then that night we went to the Grand Rapids one and I had heard there was around 2500-3000 people and was that ever something! To think in less than a month of starting to organize it that many people showed up, just what will happen on July 4th when they are hoping to have another one!

Since interest rates are so low, will you be refinancing?
For us it wouldn’t be worth it to refinance as we always have been paying extra on our house and our goal is to have it paid off this year, but had we not of done that and still owed 22 years on it, I’m sure we would of been! The only thing that would of stunk would be that means we would be paying on it for 30 years then instead of 22, unless we would of refinanced for a 15 year fix mortgage.

What is your biggest fear?
For me it would be something bad happening to one of my kids. (Getting kidnapped or getting seriously hurt or dying)

When you were in High School, what was your favorite subject?
I would have to say mine was band. Yup.. I was a band geek and proud of it. I loved having band concerts and marching in band competitions, but another thing that was great about band to me was the no homework! I don’t think I ever brought my Saxaphone home to actually practice. I did bring it home, but never once did I take it out of the case.

Yesterday I started laptop shopping and got a little overwhelmed. I think I figured it out that I would like a 15.4″ or 15.6″ laptop, but now what kind, what do I need in it and how much do I want to spend?

When you sleep, do you have a fan or other white noise going?
When I was growing up I always had my radio going. Then I ended up quitting that and never used anything until I got married. Paul always needs a fan going so we tend to have that running, but when he isn’t home (gone on his hunting trip) I sometimes still use it out of habit, but can sleep without it.

I don’t like the title of this blog and have been trying to think of something different/shorter… any ideas? My husband keeps saying he doesn’t want anything to do with blogging so I’ll have to change that idea of it. I had just thought it would of been fun to have a guys outlook on things sometimes.
