Finding Our Perfect Tree at Lenderink Tree Farm

This past weekend, our family continued a cherished tradition: finding our Christmas tree at Lenderink Tree Farm in Belmont, MI. It’s our second year visiting, and once again, it didn’t disappoint! Whether you’re looking for a hands-on experience cutting your own tree or the convenience of a pre-cut option, this farm has something for everyone—and yes, your furry friends are welcome too!

We opted for a pre-cut tree this year, but the U-cut experience looked like so much fun! They provide saws and even have trailers to transport you to and from the fields. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the entire process seamless. After picking out our tree, they shook off the loose needles, wrapped it up for easy transport, and even drilled a hole in the base for the stand. This little detail made setting it up at home so much easier!

But the farm is more than just trees! Their Christmas Village has:

A visit from Santa on weekends (perfect for those Christmas card photos!).
Complimentary hot chocolate and marshmallows to warm up.

Accessibility: The pathways are dirt and gravel, so a baby carrier is a better option than a stroller.
Weather: It’s all outdoors, so bundle up and wear boots!
