Highlights
Over Christmas break, we spent a morning exploring HappyKids Indoor Playground, and it was a blast! Here's what stood out:
Variety of Activities: My kids gravitated to the large ball pit and climbing structure! They also loved the trampolines. There was a huge variety of activities for the kids that kept them entertained for quite a while!.
Toddler-Friendly Spaces: I noticed that there were several areas set apart from where the big kids were running around that were perfect for smaller children. There were several soft play structures that would have been great when my kids were younger.
Kid Approval: My kids weren’t ready to leave and even asked if we could come back every day!
The prices were reasonable, with tickets required for kids aged 2-10. A big bonus? Adults are free, and kids under 2 are free as well—perfect if you’re bringing along a baby sibling.
Our Experience
We booked our tickets online the night before, which was a smart move because the playground was busy when we arrived. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and organized.
My kids were immediately drawn to the ball pit and jungle gym area, spending a good chunk of time climbing, sliding, and exploring. The trampolines were another big hit, and their laughter was contagious!
As a parent, I appreciated the thoughtful design of the space, especially the dedicated areas for younger children. It’s nice to know toddlers can play safely without big kids running through. The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming, and the overall cleanliness of the facility stood out.
Pro Tips
Clothing:
Everyone must remove their shoes and wear socks.
Kids need grippy socks—you can bring your own or purchase them onsite.
Cubbies are available for shoes and jackets, but space is limited, so pack light.
Accessibility:
Strollers aren’t needed in the play area, but there is a designated stroller parking space inside near the entrance.
Food and Drinks:
No food or drinks are allowed in the play area.
Because cubby space was limited, I left the kids’ water bottles in the car. I ended up needing to get them about half-way through our time as they kids had worked up quite a sweat running around. Next time Ill probably just make room in the cubby to avoid that hassle.
If you don’t bring your own snacks, there is a café onsite with kid-friendly options if you want to grab a snack.
Bathrooms:
Bathrooms are located on both ends of the play area.
The larger bathrooms on the opposite end from the café were more convenient with multiple stalls and changing tables.
Other Tips:
Be sure to sign the waiver online before arriving to speed up check-in!
